Acer is stepping up in its role as a worldwide sponsor of the London 2012 Olympic Games to give its customers unlimited access to the Games through a partnership with Eurosport.
Acer customers who purchase the new Olympic Games editions of the Iconia tablets and Aspire notebooks before and during the London 2012 Olympic Games, which kicks off in July, will be given a trial access to Eurosport’s live streaming service Eurosport Player.
The service comes already embedded on Acer’s Olympic Games edition notebook and tablet computers, allowing those who have purchased one to watch Eurosport’s coverage of the London 2012 Olympic Games featuring up to 13 hours live action per day and broadcasting in 20 languages.
Through the partnership, Acer will be featured as a presenting partner of all Olympic Games coverage across Eurosport’s TV and digital platforms.
“We want to give our customers an opportunity to enjoy every minute of the most exciting sports event in the world,” says Acer EMEA president Oliver Ahrens. “Installed on our latest tablets and notebooks, the Eurosport Player will provide unlimited sporting actions as we approach the Olympic Games and during all the 17 days of the competition.”
