Bigger is better with Nintendo's announcement of the larger 3DS XL. Mostly 90% larger than the 3DS, it packs a 4.88-inches top and 4.18-inches bottom screen. In addition, the 3DS XL will also have a longer lasting battery life.
The improved handheld gaming device also has a 4GB SD Card for storing downloadable content, and Nintendo aims to launch games such as Super Smash Bros., Skylander Giants and Professor Layton and the Miracle Mask.
At an estimated price of USD$200, the Nintendo 3DS XL will be released throughout the world from late July to August.
