Who are HashOne?
HashOne - a hip hop trio consisting of Nasi, Mr. Mix and Sun G - is a group which, on paper, comprises three of the most talented undiscovered rappers from the Motswako hub of Mafikeng. Individually, they have generated hype for themselves by releasing well received songs and landing features as members of the sound design company, Sotho Mafia Entertainment. Between them, they have worked with SAMA Winner TUKS, Mo Molemi, SAMA Winner AKA, MXO, DJ Lemonka, Award winning sound engineer Arnold Verrmark and Lungelo from TS records. They have also contributed to music libraries for TV like Lalela Vol5. What does Maftown Heights mean to you? Maftown Heights is a celebration of Mafikeng as the melting pot for SA's Motswako talents. No town, or city for that matter, has exclusively given SA hip hop more dopeness than Mafikeng, and Maftown Heights bears testament to that fact. As it also showcases some of the rappers from outside Maftown as well, the gig is an even bigger deal. We've been attending the show since its inception and, for us to be performing at Maftown Heights this year is beyond awesome. What don't people know about HashOne?
