Microsoft’s video gaming brand Xbox has shifted its EMEA advertising account from McCann London to Wunderman UK, without a pitch.
According to UK trade magazineCampaign, the agency picked up the creative business following a review led from the US. There was no pitch involved.
The agency’s remit will include developing creative elements for Xbox across a variety of platforms, most significantly digital, but also TV campaigns.
Campaign also states that Wunderman is understood to have employed 12 new members of staff to work on the account.
Xbox’s global creative agency of record Twofifteenmccann will not be affected.
