AIRTEL DEEPENS CSR WITH EYE-SCREENING EXERCISE IN ADOPTED SCHOO

In line with its core Corporate Social Responsibility, the leading telecommunications services provider, Airtel Nigeria, has taken another huge step in its Adopt-a-School CSR initiative by conducting free Eye-Screening exercise for pupils and teachers of its Adopted Primary Schools across Nigeria.
The two-day Eye- Screening Exercise also took place at St. John’s Anglican Primary School, Oke-Agbo, Ijebu-Igbo, Ogun State where hundreds of pupils, teachers, people from the State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB) and community leaders throng to the school to participate and witness  the exercise.
The Eye-Screening Exercise which received remarkable commendations from a monarch, Local Government Chairman, Parents –Teachers Association (PTA), teachers, pupils and community members started on Tuesday 1st of April to Wednesday 2nd of April, 2014.
