Buenos Aires, September 5 2014.— Sustainable Brands Buenos Aires, the most important international conference about
sustainability and brands worldwide, held for the first time in Buenos Aires,
came to a close today. More than 800 people got inspiration from top-level local
and international speakers in 24 plenary sessions, six thematic sessions, two workshops
and a sustainable solutions expo. A total of 14 million people followed the conversation
on Sustainable Brands Buenos Aires networks: @sustainbrandsba and
/sustainablebrandsbuenosaires.

building an experience that drives the growth of this conversation about brands
and sustainability, by working on our business more deeply and on how to
redesign our mindframe.”, said Gabriela Korovsky, founding partner of Urban Communication
Group and General Director, Sustainable Brands Buenos Aires.
Organized by Urban Grupo de Comunicación, the conference
brought together more than 50 national and international speakers, with the
focal point of talks and discussions being the important, transformative role of
brands in a more sustainable future.
Held in
Buenos Aires for the first time, Sustainable
Brands Buenos Aires gave attendees the opportunity to participate in
international conferences featuring agents of change linked to the most influential
companies in the world. It offered the chance of joint participation among corporations,
communication agencies, NGOs, investors, governments and other players.
The focal
point of the day’s talks was innovation as a driver for changing the way of
doing business and thus creating sustainable value to improve the world we live
in. To bring the day to a close, Sustainable Brands Buenos Aires opened a
discussion to take a global look at the change in the market’s rules of the
game.
On the final
day, the topics addressed included recycling and the problem of garbage, new
aspirational consumers, how to drive a new way of doing business and a more
responsible economy.
