Jaden Smith becomes face of Louis Vuitton womenswear

Jaden Smith has become the new face of Louis Vuitton womenswear, with the fashion label's artistic director posting pictures of the young rapper and actor in a skirt and leather jacket.

The shots on Nicolas Ghesquière's Instagram page are from the brand’s forthcoming Spring/Summer 2016 campaign.

Smith appears in the shots, by legendary fashion photographer Bruce Weber, wearing a biker-style leather jacket, a tassled white string top and a patterned black skirt.

The 17-year-old actor - who is the son of Hollywood stars Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith - is renowned for being photographed wearing skirts and dresses.

Smith previously Instagrammed images of himself wearing a black-and-white dress, accompanied by the words: "Went To TopShop To Buy Some Girl Clothes, I Mean ‘Clothes'." He has since made his Instagram account private.
